Hunters Feed
33rd Annual Ennis Hunters Feed- October 19, 2018
The Ennis Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Ennis Hunters Feed is held every year on the Friday before rifle season opens, and welcomes hunters, families, friends and food enthusiasts from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Chefs of all abilities offer up their best and most creative wild game dishes for all to vote upon right here on Main Street. Prizes are awarded for Best Chili, Best Non-Chili, Most Unique and People's Choice! Trophies will be given to all category winners! You may also purchase a Hunters Feed T shirts, merchandise, or a 50/50 raffle ticket to help support this free Chamber event. Please register to participate by 4 PM October 18th. Ennis Lions Club Halloween Carnival and Bingo
When: Wed, October 31, 6pm – 8pm
Where: Ennis Elementary School, Ennis, MT
Description: For a true family experience, come and join the fun at the Lions Club Halloween Carnival. This special event is an annual tradition in Ennis and gives everyone in the community a chance to share in the fun! The carnival is set up by the Lion’s Club and clubs and organizations from the high school to the pre-school use the event to create a safe and fun Halloween and bring in funds for their activities during the school year. A favorite event is the pie-throwing booth with willing teachers as targets. Expert bakers bring fabulous cakes for the cake-walk and the Junior class creates a thriller haunted house for those with the nerve to enter. Prizes are awarded for several costume categories and it is always fun to see the little ones dressed as bumble bees or pea pods! Older kids seem to revel in the zombie craze, but it is all in good fun. But that’s not all! A prize-filled Bingo game continues during the carnival and generous donations from local merchants are carried home by the dedicated card-fillers. Bikes, pies, gallons of propane or gasoline, services and housewares are all up for grabs. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of an evening without food. Hot cider, hot dogs, chili, baked goods and, of course, CANDY are all available. Halloween in Montana is often cold and snowy…come inside and join the fun at the carnival where it is warm and friendly! October 31, 2018 in the Ennis Elementary School Gymnasium. Activities include: – Haunted House – Games – Cake walk – Costume Prizes – Bingo – And more! 6:00pm Carnival 7:00pm Bingo Games, costume judging, food. Bingo with merchandise and cash prizes!
