My wife
and I meet Bill and Quinn about three years ago and told them that when the time
was right we thought that we wanted to buy a home in the Madison Valley. Bill
was more than happy to show us around the area and give us a feel for what was
available at the time and discussed values of property with us in a very honest
manner. We were not ready to act on anything and Bill said not to worry and that
he would keep in touch, let us know of new listings and changes in existing
listings. The following summer, he graciously showed us more properties but
never pushed us to make any offers at all. We still were not ready to buy but

My husband has worked at fish hatcheries
in both Idaho, Washington and now in Montana. It is often a requirement for
employees to live on-station at the hatcheries, so we lived for about 5 years in
"hatchery housing." We were grateful to have the affordable rent and wonderful

husband was no longer required to live on-station, and in May of 2009, we had
our son Colton, so we began our search for a home. We met Bill and Quinn Mercer,

We began our search for properties in Montana in 2008.
We weren’t sure where we wanted to be but had driven through Ennis and found it
beautiful. Found Bill online and he gladly emailed us listings and mailed us a
relocation package. We made our first trip to meet with him around Thanksgiving
time. Even though he knew we may never buy there, he was happy to show us around
the area! This really helped us to get an idea of the different subdivisions.
